How to chose Your Meditation Class?
G’day and Welcome
Todays Blog is about choosing the Meditation class that is right for you. It is also a little guide to the differences that you will find in these classes.
I have tried various classes whilst on my personal journey and have found that going to a class once a week as well as meditating at home can be very beneficial. The BIG question is…Which is the right class for me ? I would suggest trying a few classes and find a class and teacher that you feel comfortable with.
You will find beginner classes, intermediate class and advanced classes that you can participate in. As well as this, you will find that different teachers will have different methods of conducting a class. Some will guide you all the way through the meditation which can be very helpful when you first start out. There are classes where a meditation cd is put on and you follow that. Then there are teachers who will guide you into the meditative state, leave you to yourself and then guide you out. Then there are more advanced classes where you sit and meditate without guidance or music. I have tried all of these over last 3 years and I still enjoy a good beginner or intermediate class. Having said that though the energies are different in all classes and they all have something to offer.
Another thing you will find is a difference in the themes that teachers will use during their meditations. They may talk of fairy folk, crystal caves and beautiful natural settings.
You may meet Angels, Spirit guides and energy beings.
You may visit past life experiences and get to look deep into yourself.
You may find yourself discovering sacred geometry, fly through the universe or even meet aliens while sending and receiving love from the universe.
The ultimate goal here is to reach total stillness of the mind. To let go of negative thought and all that holds you back. Try to reach a state where you are truly open to receive the messages and information you need from your higher self, spirit guides, angels and the universe.
This is why I say to you “ Find a class that you feel comfortable with”.
Don’t just settle somewhere if it doesn’t feel right. Try different classes of all types and most importantly Please don’t let one bad experience turn you off your meditation journey “!
To finish off…Follow up your meditation class with meditation at how whenever you get the chance. Meditation is very important, not only spiritually but also physically.
You will see the effects immediately.
You will become more relaxed, your mind will be clearer and it will help you to deal with the stresses of every day life.
Namaste
